Protasis One-Minute NMRâ„¢ Delivers Trouble-Free Human Serum Analysis
August, 2005 -- Novatia and Protasis have teamed up to demonstrate the efficiency and efficacy of One-Minute NMR in high throughput biofluids analysis. Novatia, an analytical services contract laboratory, has provided field support to Protasis for installations of their CapNMR probes on the East Coast for three years. This year, Novatia has decided to expand their pharmaceutical and biotechnology support services to include high throughput NMR using the premium Protasis Discovery Tower with One-Minute NMR software. Performance trials earlier this year were promising enough to allow Novatia to sign a significant contract with a biotech company to run several thousand serum samples for biomarker research. The Protasis One-Minute NMR platform offers high sensitivity, excellent data quality, low reagent consumption and is several times faster than conventional systems. This combination enables Novatia to make the best use of the NMR time that they lease through Princeton University’s very generous Industrial Partners Program.
